In January 2023 Sheila was named Vernon Township Democrats Chair. She has been a Vernon
Township Trustee since 2019 and re-elected in 2021 and 2025. She also serves on the Board of
the Vernon Township Food Pantry and OMNI Youth Services. Previously she has served on the
board of a national religious organization and helped create its activis

separation of church and state. Prior to entering politics and governance, she spent 20+ years as
a non-profit executive, the last 7 as Vice President, Operations.
